Just a lovely song, I listen to it when I am having one of my attacks of emotion and I feel just a bit better. It is about being alone, searching for what is lost because one chose a path that they do not want to be on anymore. So now they are lost in this life they lead, wanting a different one, another chance. NOt much was known about Captain Nemo in the book or movie, just that he was lonely and seemed apathetic sometimes. This song is beautiful even if it is sad. |

When I first heard this song, it sounded like a great love song. Perhaps like she was obsessed with someone's love. She couldn't believe that this love was so great and she is just waiting for the pain or the sadness that would come with it, but finding that the more she loves and is loved, she feels so good. I also consider this song a great sex song, something you can make love to someone to, it's got that slow rhythm and softness that just caresses the right parts of you and excites emotion. |

It sounds like the song is about a girl who is rejected and misunderstood, and she doesn't care and will what it takes to stay who she is. Kind of like the high school angst I went through where everyone made fun of me because I didn't act like everyone else, so they poked fun, while I just quietly smiled to myself, plotting my way to get back at them. |
