i gave this song to my ex after she told me she had a miscarriage and ran off to her ex just to find out about 8 months later that she was having the kid and saying she didn't know the father, so she could but it up for adoption and then had her friend call and tell me so i would know but not be able to stop her or get the kid... |

ok, i think the girl affects him like a drug and she knows it, and she gives him just enough of her time to keep him but not enough to make him happy... she's a bitch... straight up... and yeah it is a pun and it's also ironic that his heroine won't save him but he definitely refers to her as a drug when he says "I'll break you, my habit" |

ok the lyrics are good with an off-beat rhyme scheme... and as far as the melody or tune is concerned there are millions of songs out there that sound almost exactly the same... but as long as it's not the exact same (I.E.: add a harmony and drop an octave or change up the rhythm) then you can't sue them... that's like trying to sue a comedian for making a similiar joke... |

to me it says he's alone and stays up all night wishing he could have this girl back cuz even though she left him he still thinks he's the best thing for her, he knows he's messed up, he's been lied to and evrything just got so confusing but if she could just see how he really feels then everything would be better, he knows in the morning he'll have to face the world alone and he's ashamed of spending his every waking moment thinking about her, but it's the only way he can cope with life after she left him... at least that's how i feel... about the song... i love this version so much more than sarah's... mostly cuz the duet chorus thingy... but all-in-all evans blue is awesome!!! |

I agree but i also feel there's more to it... he knows it's over but he keeps trying that's why 'sentiments, hopeless' and it's about to be over but it's not quit which is why he still says 'say hello to alone again' but they are definitely in the middle of a fight when the song starts... and he's not ready to give up cuz he says 'Someday we might find, some sacred place in time'... at least that's what i think... |
