man i unno how to say this,but this song is seriosuly the best song ever written! (in my opinion at least lol). like the long intro that ppl keep complaining about,it just builds up to the main part of the song.ive listened to this song like hundreds of times,and every time it only gets better and better! i unno how Tom thought of this,because its flawless,so perfectly well written and done from beginning till end.
the meaning of it is anyones guess. for me it has a whole different meaning that it probably is supposed to have. overally i unno what i could do without this one song,because it got me through so many hard times that i couldnt have gone thru without it (sad i know heh).

this version of the first original "Star of Bethlehem" is a good one and suits the album a bit better. however i wasnt too happy when they cut it into two parts :(,but i guess it was for the best. |

man when i first heard this song i thought it would be another slow track,but boy was i wrong. it starts out so quickly like a straight-forward rock song normally does.second best song on WDNTW,behind the adventure. |

i actually didnt know that this song was about a murderer like some people say it is.totally changed my whole view of this song lol,seeing as how at first for some reason it seemed like a happy go song :P (course i didnt exactly pay attention to the lyrics at first hehe). |

very catchy and very good song!
and to all those haters to this song,Tom wrote the guitar riff in "Anthem Part II" so hes free to use it in any song he likes to.As for the burrowed bass guitar part from The Cure's "Close To Me" it was only used because the cure influenced Tom's music since when he started blink 182. |
