and by the way, the false prince charming is talking about prince rupert, from the story. the other prince in the beginning that is thought to be a loser or false? and the followup with "come and claim your queen" is referring to the "kiss will end the spell" from the story. |

Alesana tends to double face things. the obvious way to look at this song is that its about the concept of sleeping beauty hence the prince charming, the poison, blah blah. you get the point. but it also has an under side to the way you can look at it. like previously stated, it could also have a moral description such as abuse. just another reason to love the song writing. amazing song, amazing album. |

btw, read the lyrics. its not psychotic or anything. the lyrics go right out and say Our love had been so strong for far too long, I was weak with fear that something would go wrong, before the possibilities came true, I took all possibility from you aka, he was afraid he'd do something to screw up the relationship so he killed her while his love was still strong so he wouldnt mess up the relationship. |

| I don't even know where to start with this song, let alone their whole album. probably with this album is fucking awesome. This song just totally sticks out from the rest of them which every great album needs. And i agree that it sounds exactly like a Tim Burton movie. It also sounds like it starts as a stereotipical trailertrash relationship. But he got too clingy to her and feared that she would eventually leave him so he brutally killed her by stabbing her and ripping out her heart and eating it. Then he raped her and "got a heater for her thighs" so it would seem like she's still alive. But then her soul came back and repossesed her own body and did the same thing to him (minus the rape thing). Then both of them went to hell and were married and both came back and started killing sprees. and all this time he's trying to make it up to her but she doesn't exactly accept it. This song is creepy, but thats just how i like em : ) | |
