oh my goodness! doesn't anyone read the inside of the CD covers? :O This is about a groupie = ) a very famours groupie, muse, etc. Someone who's known for being famous people's lovers. It sums up so many people that i know. It's just about a woman who likes to collect the souls of men like butterflies. Stabbing every single one to her wall knowing that they are hers and have no way to escape. Such a great song = ) the thing that sucks about being 17 is that you weren't alive to see bands like these in their prime. The Jam are probs my favourite band = ) |

Probably my favourite Jam song. It seems like Liza Radley just personifies the hopeless personality of the disatisfied yet calm youth. She almost creeps away in the night like your childhood, edging futher and further away from you without anyone really understanding what's happening. Such a beautiful song, i could go on forever about what it means to me, but i won't = ) |

I' musually pretty good with songs but i never, ever thought of it as a murder scenario. I always saw it as a guy being asked by his gf why he's been seen with a girl, and he's saying that "jenny was a friend of mine" and he was holding her close so she couldn't scream.
He believes himself innocent, and is telling her he has no motive to cheat on her, so why is she even asking,... did anyone else see it that way? |
