I'm not religious, so I don't perticularly like the undertones, but all in all it is a great song. I've played D&D before, so to me it's always been about a nation worshiping life and a nation worshiping Death(though not nessisarly evil) setting aside their religious diffrences and comeing together to "stand as one tonight" against an evil that theatens them both. But that's just my view. |

When I first heard this song, I was with my girlfriend and we had just gotten away form her parent's house for some time together after one of her family reunions. So to me, it has always kindof been about lesbians. "Look at the way We gotta hide what we're doing" Look at how we've got to keep everything secret from everbody else. 'Cause what would they say If they ever knew" How the conservative leaning side of the family would immidialty object to us being together. I don't know, it's just really personal to me. I love the song alot. |
