These lyrics are definitely off. It's "Got to keep him from going STRAY" -Also, its "PMA" (Positive Mental Attitude) Nonetheless, amazing song. No metapphoric meaning, not that I know of. Seemingly a simple sincere ode to man's best friend. |

BEST SONG ON THE ENTIRE DISC, HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS THOUGH. However i dont think other then his voice, they sound like smashing pumpkins, at all. And lyrically, nothing is clear which sorta reminds me of some of nirvana's lyrics. But this band definately has their own sound and are other wise nothing like any other band. |

I also think of Chess as the other two postings have sugessted. Psychophants are like the pawns in the game if You think about it. Which by definition are those who attempts to curry favor by flattering influential people. (The King) or ("Our Star") lot's of other hints like "play along" and "while their backs were turned" could relate to chess when it comes to capturing the figurines as You play. |

Well Melatonin is obviously a so called sleep-aid. OTC of course and it's like $2 for a 90 pill-bottle. They recommend 1-3mg, It didn't work for Me but maybe for some it does.
-I think the song is about him waking up from a dream but then taking 6mg to falll back asleep. Eventually he finds the melatonin is useless but is somehow still dreaming- possibly was all a daydream. |
