I think this could be about a secretive relationship before a man got famous. A woman is married, or she has a serious relationship, and she had cheated on her significat other with this other man off and on for 2 years. He fell in love with her, but she decided to end the affair. He still is in love, but he wishes he wasn't. He *does* feel like touching her, but he wishes he doesn't [because the woman doesn't love him in return] This woman obviously carries a great deal of guilt for what she did to her significant other. "Your not going anywhere without me" meaning she can't forget her mistake because it haunts her. And even more now that he is big and his songs are played on radios, etc. "And you shake and you plead while I sing my song" "Youre not telling anyone about me" meaning he was only just a secret. "I'd do anything just to be your man" means he wishes she was his and didn't belong to the other guy. When he talks about "the pretty faces" he's asking them to help him forget about the woman he loves by having them sleep with him. |

I thinkthe line~ "Well, it took a lot of work to be the ass I am And I'm really damn sure that anyone can Equally, easily fuck you over" Means that even though he's a mean person, the person he is refering to can be easily fucked over by even the kindest person.. generally because the person he is reffering to probably does pretty messed up stuff. |
