Panic! at the Disco – Camisado (Relax, Relapse) Lyrics 18 years ago
ok so i think it's been figured out that this song is about ryan's alcoholic father. howeverrrr. when i first heard this song i 100% thought it was about eating disorders.

"The I.V. and your hospital bed
This was no accident
This was a therapeutic chain of events"

as in they've ended up in hospital they've run down their body so much but it's no accident that they've ended up there. the 'therapeutic' chain of events, as in the not eating to 'therapeutically' gain some control in life, led them there.

"Sit back, relax
Sit back, relapse again"

how you never really recover, you just continue to relapse.

anyway, i know it's not about that but thought it was interesting.

Fall Out Boy – I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me and You) Lyrics 18 years ago
paraless,
i'm a major fan of 'from under the cork tree' and i love 'take this to your grave' as well. 'infinity on high' is definitely really different from these two albums, but it is still really great music. although i like the tracks, i think 'thnks fr th mmrs' and 'this ain't a scene' were massively over played which kind of wrecked them for some. but neway, the lyrics on every track on this album are really clever and each song has a really differnt sound to it. they are all pretty unique. definitely worth buying in my opinion.

awesome song.

"i could write it better than you ever felt it."

he could express and explain what he's gone through better than anybody could even live through it.

Fall Out Boy – The Music or the Misery Lyrics 18 years ago
i love this song & agree with icefairyx:
"People turn to music because of thier lives but their lives end up being shaped because of the music." It's really true.

also..pete made a reference to "music or the misery" with the whole heychris feud ages ago in his blogs.

"when we're reading your IMs, we're laughing cause you didn't even get it. everything you read about us isn't true. i'm not saying everyone should love our record or us, that would be ridiculous. music is a very subjective thing. i understand that but your condescending bullshit and unnecessary harshness doesn't go unnoticed. we remember you and the way you can't ever say anything to our faces. what are you in it for? the music or the misery? "

its about people not understanding what f.o.b. is about too i think.

i think there might be a bit more to it.
i think it could be for, not just pete, but for people to ask themselves was i actually miserable before getting into this music scene.

"i went so sleep a poet and i woke up a fraud."
he was a poet before everything got commercial.

"The best way to make it through with hearts & wrists in tact is to realise two out of three ain't bad."

i love this line but can't exactly figure out what pete is saying... i was thinking it could just be that, through life in general, 2 out of 3 isn't bad and that things don't need to be 100% perfect.

heaps of people think he is referring to his wrists and heart. meaning his heart is broken but he still has his two wrists? or one of his wrists isn't in tact but he still has another one and his heart?

i really want to know what he means..open to any other thoughts..
