I honestly, in my opinion, anyways, think the song is about seeing someone, or something, be it life, a girl, a career can be so dissapointing from the perspective of something whose creative. I thought I was in love with you it's just how you looked in the light - it's how you can think all these things, and your imagination runs wild, then what you saw, and what it is, is two completely different thigns. I can write it better than it's ever felt (something like that) this means, to me, that whatever really happens, in his eyes, will never meet what he writes, because in songs, and lyrics, things are so much more dramatic, and lovely, whereas in real life, it's almost never like that. |
