okay. welllll. i know hes talking about making wool. and like dying it... "Turning the grain into the ground... roll the new leaf over" "Start turning the wool into the wire..." "Drop past the color" Likes its wayyy double meaning. almost like its talking about... hey this is the way you make wool, but kinda like... if you look past peoples color and you start turning things over... you find the heart. which is what matters most.. thats what i get. and it just talks about finding out who you really are.. and where you are really from... "im coming back home today" like go back to your old roots. cause thats where we started kinda thing. |

in my opinion it talks about being in a hospital after a battle. and there they are getting healed but still will be harmed mentally. still will have all the post tramatic syndrome or whatever... tell me your story about how you ended up here... sharing war stories. doctors are on tour in india... they send doctors of to battle sites to help heal the wonded their, while nurses are left 'fussing' with all the ones who were well enough to be trasnferred to a hospital. it talks about the joy and the misery... the joy of finally being somewhere safe. but the misery.. as in their pain they are suffereing... bring buckets by the dozen. bring your neices and cousins. as in bring in everything to help save them... to just realive them. bring their neices and cousins as in bring in everyone possible.. idk. thats just my opinion on it... put out the fire boys, dont stop. telling them to put out the fire... as in their hell. the war is still going on. and im sure they are still having the feelings of wanting to going back and keep fighting. so they are telling them to finish them off and win the war. vietnam fishing trips // italian opera. some ppl in the hospitals, werent always in the war. some were civilians... that could be on fishing trips. other could be ppl who were in the war... italian opera (( aka drama)) no chance of recovery they cant be healed, for the post tramatic syndrome as stated above.... |

this song reminds me of like a long distances relationship. like he had to leave, go away somewhere. and hes on his way home for like a visit or whatever. and the trip home is the long and hard one. and when he finally gets back. neither of them can believe it. so they just fall into eachother. but hes praying that their love wont change when he has to go away again... but thats my opinion. kinda reminds me of me and my boyfriend. maybe thats why possibly i think that? idk. |

this song means so much to me right now. expessially the part about "Cause you left the frays from the ties you severed when you say, "best friends means friends forever". me and my so called best friend.. kinda have lost touched. it really explained kinda what happened between me and her. she got involved with whole drinking and partying senario, i didnt. so we kinda parted off bc of that. she started hanging out with all the drinkers, and such. and i didnt. so we pulled apart. idk. this song just really tells how im feeling right now. thanks to brand new, its some sort of word form. =] |
