Is it just me, or are there a few references to songs by "The Who"? E.g. "I won't be fooled again" sounds a spin on the line "We won't be fooled again". |

Pearl Jam to date has released two versions of "Alone". The first was released on the "Go" single which was released in Australia. The second version was released on Lost Dogs. This is why there is a difference in the lyrics put up by crackerman and Lakini. It looks like crackerman's is the version from the "Go" single. Whereas Lakini is going off of the Lost Dogs version. I would make one change to crackerman's lyrics. I think its actually:
"Own experiences lead to a young girl. All-alone you will meet the one who lies in wait." |
