She's not saying that permanent ones aren't good. To the contrary, I think she's saying that the temporary ones she's been in were/are good relationships, but not great, not permanent. Good, but not the best. Not "the one". |

I love this song, it fits me perfectly right now. As for lyrics - she was very in love with someone (who lied to her) and they aren't together any more and she says she's never felt better but she still cares for them. Etc. They're pretty straight forward. |

I love this song so much, especially the Tony Phillips Remix. Especially the lyrics: "Why live life from dream to dream. And dread the day when dreaming ends." It's so true, but so cynical. And even though she's asking why she should bother to dream and hope, this song is really only *about* her dreaming to get away. |
