Yeah, that's mostly the idea here. He keeps speaking about someone holding a light for him to relieve them of. I guess the inner-child concept makes sense. It's a weird song out of the context of knowing his mother's illness. |

Way I see this song is simple really. The "Ghost" is the fear we live out suppressing our shadow selves. It doesn't make sense to live that way. I think the album is how we come to understand what we're afraid of and realizing how to let go of that. Whatever weight we foolishly place on our backs we don't deserve to carry. |

I think in terms of the song, the subject is listening to heart desires which in a sensible frame of mind might be seen as undesired. So perhaps the song is about that state of disconcern over the outside consciousness and what is sensible. |

it's definitely a powerful theme, and yes, nin songs are poignant yet vague.
this track conveys a total dissociation with one's surroundings... like one day you wake up and you're in a completely different world, you suffer for it and no one seems to care. a turn for the worse scenario.

My favorite AD song. It speaks about overcoming an adversary that disguises their selfish deeds as in your best interest. It's their way or annihilation, and the song is about how to survive that thru grace. IMO ofc |

A great song. It does sound like "We survived, what we can't change" though. First time I heard it I got "well we can change", but now I realize the latter probably makes more sense.

This whole album is enjoyable as a good sounding, harmonious ensemble. There are some really nice tracks and some weird ones, but overall it's just a sampling of what MJK can do. The main idea is to have fun, and I'm having it with this. |
