Andy explained this song at one of his concerts because everyone kept getting the meaning wrong and using it as a love song when its actually a break up song... at the begining their still in a relationship "Please turn red Another light is another minute Another kiss that you knew I meant" and he doesn't want to take her home; he just wants to be stopped at every red light so he can kiss her. But then he lies to her about something or another "It felt so real but it was just a dream I hate what these lies have come to mean" and now he wants to just take that rode to her house one last time to talk it over coffee. |
