| Envy on the Coast – Mirrors Lyrics | 17 years ago |

This song is definitely about cocaine and the whole Snow White thing, since many speculate that the seven dwarfs are symbolic of stages of addiction, and Snow White is obviously cocaine. Upon reading the original Grimm's fairytale of Little Snow White, it becomes even more obvious that this song is partly in reference to snow white. "With red-iron feet, you'll be nursing a bloody nose" comes from the last line of the fairytale where Snow White dies: "Then they put a pair of iron shoes into burning coals. They were brought forth with tongs and placed before her. She was forced to step into the red-hot shoes and dance until she fell down dead." Red-iron feet. Makes so much more sense to me now. |

| i looooove this song. easily one of my favorites on the CD because it's so blunt and the collaboration of hayley and max's voice is phenomonal. i don't like paramore but hayley DOES have a good voice. she pulls off singing say anything's bare-all lyrics. | |
