Soulja Boy is retarded. He sucks. His "music" is repulsive. I hate him and want him to die.
DeAndre Ramone Way sucks at life and everything.

This isn't music. DeAndre Ramone Way is the biggest coporate piece of shit to ever hit the music scene.
You all need a damn role model... to whoop your asses for liking this crap and then to show you what real music is. |

mac10guy, You're an idiot. Anyone reading his post, please not that he is a sad, pathetic excuse for a person of American residence. American morals have nothing to do with taking over other countries. |

You can't judge a country's entire population by what their government choses to do. That isn't fair. Not even the majority of America fully supports Bush's actions in Iraq. It is senseless to hate an entire country for what one man does. I suppose there's no point in debating it though. People will hate me by default since I was born in America, there really isn't any way to change it. What all you America-hating idiots have said is not only a package deal fallacy from hell, but its racist and ignorant. |

| A Perfect Circle – Orestes Lyrics

A lot of you have mentioned the song H.
I was just thinking and something clicked, actually it hit me in the face like a freight train. Just hear me out
In the song H., Maynard is basically singing about his son. He explains how he doesn't want to repeat his father's abusive tendencies, to ensure his son's well being. Well, this song is about how Orestes killed his mother. Both this song and the song H. are about washing away the dark ties between yourself and the people who have hurt/corrupted you in the past. I think the fact that this song runs parallel with the myth is quite important when you think about Maynard's relationship with his father. By severing umbilical residue between himself and his father, he is effectively killing him (in a metaphorical sense) in a similar way that Orestes killed his mother. (I understand that circumstances are different, but I'm not sure I can effectively explain in words why they are so intimately related....)
Anyways, this is a great song. I can't seem to get it out of my head. It just FLOWS. |

Atkin, I think what he is saying, is that even though his mother was in such a horrible state (paralyzed and wheelchair bound for 27 years), she stayed with her beliefs. (ie, her condition did not affect her true honor or beliefs)
I may be wrong however. |

This song actually made my eyes well up, not many things have ever impacted me to that extent emotionally throughout my entire life. (Maybe the death of my close grandfather when I was younger...)
This is an amazing track, and Tool will always be the best band. Ever. |

Tool appears to suck to the people who lack the mental capacity to intemperate it, and recognize it for what it is: True Art. As a result, it isn't within their ability to appreciate it.
Too bad you suck.
As for the song, it is great. Has a very eerie tone to it. Personally I find it very relaxing and though provoking. I love this kind of stuff, although I understand that the vast majority of Pearl Jam fans and music fans in general aren't going to enjoy it because it really isn't confined to any sort of structure. |

At first I thought it was about a man going off to join the military and dying at war. I dunno, I guess if you warped the meaning of the lyrics enough it makes sense but I'm not going to put my money on it... xD |
