I think this song is pretty much about how when Pete was going through his depression. It's about how only the music helped him, and how he had to conceal from everyone that he was really in pain. "The best part of believe is the lie" and "it's just a matter of time until we're all found out" pretty much say that no matter how you lie and tell everyone your fine it will catch up to you in the end. Its about how if you admit you have a problem, people might look at you as weak, so you'll do anything to lie and make people believe that your fine. But in will all fall apart eventually. And music is the only thing keeping you together. |
