Carvel is the name of an ice cream / ice cream cake store chain in NY (now out of business). I used to have a carvel cake every year for my birthday :) brings back some nice memories. anyways thats not john singing the background vocals, it's his friend josh (who also plays drums / guitar / bass... on the album). beautiful song. thanks john. |
