I seen them in concert last night, and they were amazing! The lead singer explained that he wrote this song after working at a bar for two years. He said that he would stay up drinking until 4 in the morning every night, and then wake up at like 4 in the afternoon, so he didn't have much of a life. The title refers to the "rain delays" of his life. The lyrics are pretty self explanatory, basically just describing life in the bar scene. |

I've always thought that the lines "Just south of her shoulder And west of her spine" refers to the heart. If you think of the body in terms of north, south, east and west, then south would be below the shoulder, and west would be to the left of the spine, so basically the location of a person's heart. I have no idea if this is right or not, just a thought. |
