| I think the lyrics have a subtlety to them that most people miss. I don't know if maybe people are just transcribing them incorrectly or if this when written out the lyrics are supposed to say this, but the line "do you like your Hollywood?" is a grammatically ambivalent when spoken. He could be asking her if she likes her Hollywood, which does not make too much sense to me, or he could be saying "do you like you're Hollywood." Considering the song is concerned with sex the use of the contraction "you're" makes much more sense. He is saying that they could pretend to be stars and he will have sex with her (do her) like she is a Hollywood star. | |
