Bodymek - most of the lyrics are correct, give or take a few words. I think this song is about the love of a guy for one of his close friends, she doesn't quite get it and only sees the friendship, using his compliments as a pick me up "Your desperate, his only chance of a compliment". He's just happy to be closer to her than most people are even if it is only as a friend and when he says "I couldn't count the years that I've been waiting I wouldn't like to guess at what I've been missing" I think maybe she's finally given him a chance and he's saying that he's been waiting for this a long time and feels like he has been missing out but it's okay now because he has her. |

I think this song could be about someone who is trying to get out of a relationship, that she feels tied to, prehaps by a child. "sitting there is him/he has your eyes/calling you to somehow join them" - She wants to go but when her child cries she feels he's calling for her to stay with them as a family. The singer is someone who can see what she's going through and wants to help her break out. Prehaps the relationship is abusive? I think this song is about a sort of forbidden love. When i hear this it stirs up feelings about my ex. I can't have him back and this song just explains what i want to say to him. "i'm falling even more in love with you" The fact that i love him and i shouldn't makes me love him that little bit more than i should. "forgetting all i'm lacking completely incomplete i'll take your invitation you take all of me " Without him i'm incomplete and if he asked me to do something i would do it - he could take all of me if he wanted. "i'm living for the only thing i know i'm running and not quite sure where to go i don't know what i'm diving into just hanging by a moment here with you" The only thing i know is that i need him, i feel like just running to get away from it because i have no idea what to do otherwise. To me this song is about sex. Different types of sex. I'm an SAD sufferer too and it struck a chord with me - i always forget about all the good things that have happened through the year and by the time it gets to autumn and winter i just want to change everything "What have you done to your hair?" LOL i cut my hair short in a moment of SAD-ness this year. To me this song reminds me of my and my ex. We had a rocky relationship to start with, always bickering and falling out but then all of a sudden it just all worked out and we fell in love. Recently we both moved away to uni on opposite coasts and it has fallen apart.
