Please guys, If we could post SONG MEANINGS down here, instead of " I LVOE THIS SONNNG!" Seriously. anyways, This song is NOT about an innocent relationship. It's something alot darker. The guy is in a relationship with a girl, he's on vacation somewhere, Obviously, In Italy or someplace (Midnight on a beach on the Mediterranean) and he's talking to her, about how he misses her, and he will bring this back to her when he decribes it to her. But the version he is going to describe it different and he is going to leave out a key details (Perhaps an affair?) I Know this becuase of the line "If I can make this night Light enough to move" which i think clearly points out that he's going to leave out stuff. The rest is simply him explaining it to her, while there is something very important he isn't telling her. |

The impression I got from this song is a little different from most. I makes me think of a guy who got a girl pregnant and now is denying ever loving/making love to her.( your love is something I cannot remember) You find your love outside the public library could be an insult to call her like, she just sleeps with random people "I don't want to feel like I dont have a future." Self explainitory having a child could ruin his life, thus he has no future. "Did you know it could happen to you?" I think is a warning to the listener, all this could happen to you. |
