to break it down- "Conversion, software version 7.0"-how technology is forever advancing just to enetertain the rich and let them have something to spend their money on "Looking at life through the eyes of a tire hub" the rich's outlook on life, which happens to relate to a drunken mans vision(or someone with poor peripheral vision lol) "Eating seeds as a past time activity"- i'm not really sure on this one it could refer to some drug that has to do with seeds (although unlikely) or maybe the poor that have nothing to eat but seeds or even (and more likely) that the rich that have nothing to do but to sit on there on there butts and can't figure out that if you eat the seeds today , thats food for today, but if you plant them you'll have food for a virtually infinite time. "The toxicity of our city"- when i first heard this i took it literally and thought about public intoxication( you know how u can't carry around beer or something in plain sight and all the ho-bos r walking around drinking out of a bottle in a brown bag) now i still think its about public intoxication but in another form. we see it everywhere, in every city how theres the homeless on the streets and the gangs and the teenage girls at street corners, but we try to mask it with big buildings and signs that say welcome and "artwork"(my kindergarden lump of clay looked better), becuz its considered "toxic" when we see these poor people trying to survive (public intoxication) "New, what do you own the world?"- as if a wealthy dude is is splrugeing on something brand new (which i wouldn't call splrugeing becuz he's rich) And they're asking him (sarcastically) if he owns the world becuz he buys everything he sees. "How do you own disorder"- if someone (sry i kept saying he its just cuz when i think of wealth i think of rich fat french dudes,not to offend the french... or dudes)well if someone was to say they owned the world,(or seemed as if they did) then they would own disorder, because the world is full of disorder, and how do u own disorder, u can't because anyone can make or be or have (a) disorder. - as so the importance of this question. "Somewhere, between the sacred silence and sleep"- that somewhere in this once peaceful world man came in and distroyed it causing disorder and voilence. "More wood for their fires, loud neighbors"- the rich with their parties useing up our resources and speaking errogantly(loud). "Flashlight reveries caught in the headlights of a truck"- when the rich can live without knowing what is happening even when it looks them in the face. "When I became the sun, I shone life into the man's hearts"- again them being sarcastic, talking about how a rich person thinks they r the center of the universe(the sun) abd how they think that they r helping mankind when they are really just paving the way for there graves. |

| it's prettty self explanitory but in the part when he "I'm Just the meaning of pi!" it could be refering to a miltary strategy using pi. And that He and the peoples support is not thought about much in the war( as pi is in the strategy) yet is essencial for it to be successful ( the war and strategy). So with people loosing hope (and support) in the war, it will fail. But becuase all support is not gone the war will continue on in its dreadful parade. Unless we take their advice and "fuck the system" meaning abandon the government and all stand agaisnt the war ("we all need to fuck the system") then there will be no support in the war and it will end becuase of lack of force. IT'S ANARCHY PEOPLE! | |

| ok empty walls , my analisis- "Pretentious adventures"- our soilders, "Dismissive apprehension"- how when ours soilders and law enforcement officers r unneededly voilent and how it is not looked at by the government as an issue", "When we decline, From the confines of our mind, Don't waste your time, On coffins today..."-once we relize that all this voilence is because of prejudice and a closed mind, its too late and millions have already died, "Don't you see their bodies burning?"-( the scene in iraq) "Desolate and full of yearning"-(they are innocent people) "Dying of anticipation'-(as they wait wondering if they'll live another day , it gets to them and suicide occurs) "Choking from intoxication"-( some drug them selves to death, it could also refer to when children are drugged and sent out to kill; choking their minds) "I loved you yesterday, Before you killed my family"- how people thought americans soilders and even their own "protectors"(the now terrorists) were suposse to save them but just made matters worst and killed innocent people. Now the tough one " Told you to see from behind those empty walls, Want you to be left behind those empty walls"- i think he means that we should step into the shoes of others , and just watch, from a safe place-the "empty walls", if you don't understnd what i'm saying. it's as if you're looking through a one way window (at the war); they can't see you, the window just looks like an empty wall. he wants you to watch the war, see the pain, experience the pain, and be left there able to do nothing about it. This song makes you think and is very deafening through the noise. I hope this is clarifying for u, yet rememeber this is just my opinion. The video which is amazing, has even more meanings. btw -i'm 13 | |
