I'd agree with everything that bustinloose says; except that perhaps the bridge does not refer to children in the literal sense, rather, it refers to Jesus' statement that "unless you become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3). A child trusts completely in its father; in this case, the 'children' represent those who trust wholeheartedly in Christ. The 'fathers' and 'mothers' might therefore refer to our leaders who did not hold a relationship with Jesus as the most important thing in life, who call to the mountains and the rocks "fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne" (Revelation 6:16). There's my two cents. Love to hear any other opinions. |

| We can never really be happy with what we have, if we continually focus on the glamour of other people's lives. They have problems, just like us - just pick up a tabloid magazine to see my point. We can constantly find ourselves wishing for more and better possessions, but in the end, nothing we have can satisfy us, apart from a relationship with God. It is when we stand at this 'intersection' that a full life can truly begin. | |

| Easily one of the best love songs I've heard, whether to Jesus or to a loved one. It certainly is a song showing, at least to me, higher love than the "love" (lust) that the world offers. To feel that you are accepted by someone is the best feeling in the world. Indeed, true love is about acceptance and friendship - this applies both to the relationships in this life and to relationships with Our Lord. | |
