you're absolutely right! my favorite part is "I've never thought much of formulaic verse anyway and rhymes are not my fort-" However, note to the editor Mr. BlackSPY407 the song might make more sense if it were typed using the haiku formula for instance 5 La / da / dee / did/dum 7 La / da / dad/dum / doo / did/dle 5 Dum / doo / la / dee/dle Please, do the song some justice! :) |

at first i agreed with this... however that is not the line i would have chosen to support this theory.. "bumble mumble make the rounds no matter what you'll seem profound" it's like they are saying 'look, we threw a bunch of words together, and it seems so profound that you all seek a deeper meaning!' then they continue with "it's useless just to worry" < stop reading so deep into it "something normal happens somewhere far away in clouds" < there is nothing magical going on then they say "please stop thinking. this is happy." they are two seperate sentences which is to say 'this is it, just enjoy it." , |

also it's "Hit the street with the sweet tunes on Do a donut on your momma's front lawn" there is no "one" it's just the way they're saying o-n and la-wn |

hide_seek is right... 'gnac [nyak] is short for Cognac which is a widely known brandy from france they're saying to turn up the amp so he can hear way in the back this makes the most sense! |

| Regina Spektor – Samson Lyrics | 18 years ago |

ok... i am shocked at how nobody knows what this song is about from an interview Regina is singing about a man with cancer this is a man who is LIVING with cancer, this is the strength she speaks of... his hair was long when they first met... but now that he's going through Chemo-therapy he's losing his hair... each night he has less and less hair so one night she cuts it herself... she loved him first... referring to before the cancer... NOTE: in the bible there is no wonder bread so any of you thinking it was an alternate view on the bible story... maybe research a little first... she's shocked, for lack of better words, that a man of such strength, in her eyes, isn't acknowledged in history... so she does it herself... I absolutely love regina and this song! =] |
