Although I disagree that the song is specifically about Twilight, I think it could definitely be interpreted as a vampire love song. Many of the lines and a lot of the imagery at least suggest it. For example: You're a ghost, love Nightgown flowing Your body blue and walking Along the continental shelf You are a dream among the sharks Beautiful and terrifying Living restless We dance in dark suspension I always thought this meant that by the end of the song she had been turned into a vampire as well. Any way it's interpreted, it's a beautiful song. |
