This song is at glance depressing, chilling, (until you're hooked) and makes me think of slowly sinking through water but also happiness and warmth. I cant place it but this song is just different and, as others have said feels sorta "purifying" As for the meaning, I think it's basically lean on me x 10 |

Well this song has lost me on its meaning.......the first time i heard it it made me think of someone people believed in, like a new president or something somehow involved in the end of the world....celebrate while you can and i have just one last wish and all. But now that seems just stupid seeing the real lyrics, I am reminded of the lottery too..........but it just seems like random......maybe its dreaming..or living to the fullest........or getting by on mere luck... No. Just random words that sound good. |

After watching the video abit more everything moves alittle more slower and you can look at everything seperately, so i noticed the simpliest thing. Empty walls = Windows, walls we see clearly through, but are still separate and far away from whats on the other side, like the window you can barely see at the end of the video. Like TV and news. Yeah this at first reminded me of the Holocaust as well, but I figured "No dude you're just thinking that because last year your teacher drilled it into your head" But now that someone else said it I agree. It's probably about all war, but mostly the iraq one. Also how anger just drives more irrational decisions like poison, during the first time watching the video I thought the "empty walls" were being blinded by anger. But yeah :P I'm looking too far into this. |
