This one concert I went to, Ben Kweller let this kid named Andrew or something propose to his girlfriend Liz on stage. They got champagne in paper cups and BK played "Lizzy" to them. It was the most adorable thing I've ever witnessed. |

So basically BK is my favorite musician ever, but this song kind of sucks. The lyrics are very nice, but awkwardly personal and musically...so boring. When I was at his concert, people actually laughed during the piano "solo" because, well, the solo is like a couple disconnected chords that any kid could play. I mean, I love Ben Kweller to death, but this song pales in comparison to some of his early love songs, like "Lizzy." Now THAT'S a good song. |

I agree with everything. The first time I heard it, I didn't even know who the Thermals were, and it was just so kickass that I went out and bought the album. Super fun to play really loud while you're driving and sing along..."we won't flinch WE DON'T GIVE A SHIT!" Hahaha. |
