I think eirenightshade is right on. I only had like 3 songs by black eyed peas on my ipod but now ive added this one. It is exactly what Im feeling and I can relate to every line. I dont know of any other song that talks about this same topic. Im glad they made a song that did. |

I relate this song to my ex now. TDG is my fav. band and I've heard this song many times before. but yesterday I just heard this song again and I can Really relate to it now. Whether its parents, friends, ex-boyfriend w/e the song is about someone you hate. being pushed around. eventually you hate the person so much and you become so angry, that you start becoming the mean person they are. this song is about realizing what they're doing to you and standing up for yourself saying "I'm not gonna let you turn me into the mean, rude person you are." and completely kicking them out of your life. |

It's about loving someone and you had to break up. you didnt want to break up but at the time you didnt really have much of a choice. your both still friends but your acting like you dont love each other cause you dont want to show it. This song is about knowing you still love them and Realizing they might still love you too, or like you at least. so it's like What about now? What if your making me all that I was meant to be?
