Funny story... From a post by mercurybard (on livejournal) 'The first time I met Gabe was at the Houston stop on the Honda Civic Tour in June 2007. While waiting in line, I heard a girl ask him to sign her boobs, and he said no because there were little kids around. Imagine my surprise when I first heard "Damn You Look Good and I'm Drunk (Scandalous)" and the lines "don't ask me to sign your skin / can't you see these little kids?" ' I wish I'd been there! O.O |

I think this song is about a girl who gets pregnant, so she marries the father, simply because he's the father. Both of them thought they would marry someone they loved, she imagined her perfect wedding since she was a girl, but it ddin't turn out like that. So basically, the kid ruined his mother and fathers life (Wake up Tommy, can't you see the pain you caused in side. Look at mommy, as she finds a place for her love to hide) And they stay together for the kids sake, and lie about their love. She pretends everything is alright, even though she's miserable. |
