| Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors – What Would I Do Without You Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| yet another song i wish i had written :) | |
| In-Flight Safety – Paper Thin Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| I absolutely love this song. Not to mention the perfect intro that precedes this on the album. The melodies that linger and ring, the haunting vocals, the lyrics that speak some sort of truth. Well done, In Flight Safety, well done. | |
| Lifehouse – Between the Raindrops Lyrics | 13 years ago |
| Pretty straightforward. I don't know much about everything else, but with you by my side, we're gonna be more than alright in the thing called life. And it's gonna be one helluva fun ride. | |
| Blind Pilot – Half Moon Lyrics | 14 years ago |

what are you talking about? the lyrics that happen toward the end of the song are missing, but from what was written there was like one minor error. oh i get it now. you just wanted to use the new phrase you learned. 'fraught with errors' my ass. |

| The Lonely Island – Like a Boss Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| probably the best song on the album | |
| The Killers – Spaceman Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| best song on the album | |
| David Ryan Harris – For You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| how does this song not have any comments? it's absolutely fantastic, and the meaning is pretty straightforward. | |
| The Ting Tings – Be the One Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| love this song. my fav of the album | |
| Bob Marley and the Wailers – Waiting In Vain Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| my favorite bob song. this is the jam! not only do the lyrics hit home, but the music! over 30 years since this song came into existence, and it's still fresh. it captures a feeling that few have since. | |
| Collective Soul – Adored Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| beautiful song. i was listening to the song in the car, and it made me just stop and listen to it. collective soul is still rocking. i'm lovin it. | |
| Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová – Say It to Me Now Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| as soon as this song STARTED (just the music, not the lyrics) to play over the opening lyrics, i knew this movie was going to be exceptional. this is my favorite song off the soundtrack, if only for the absolute power glen conveys as he sings. damn he can sing with emotion. | |
| Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová – If You Want Me Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| really...calming and sad at the same time. for some reason her accent when she sings makes it seem like she's crying; that isn't a criticism, it's just how i'm perceiving the song. the beginning sounds so "old", for lack of a better word, and then it just kind of reaches across distance and time. a weird description, but this song sounds kind of like that to me. it's awesome | |

| Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová – When Your Mind's Made Up Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| to me, that first verse is nothing short of brilliant. and glen sings with such passion, it's hard not to get caught up | |
| The Honorary Title – Wait Until I'm Gone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| awesome song from an awesome album. it's great when he gets into "i need a stimulant". the beginning of this song sounds like something you would hear at a high school dance from the 50s or something. if they made a video that would definitely be the vision i see | |
| Jimmy Eat World – Carry You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
tashaaaaa x: the only thing different from your lyrics and mine are a few grammar/puncuation differences and spelling errors. that's it. and my version posted was only slightly improved off of the ones before me. i've got the cd too, along with the free single i got for pre-ordering. big deal. i've had a LOT of albums that have had the different lyrics written in them than what was sung in the songs, be it a couple words or entire lines. don't be so reckless next time you decide to call everyone who posted lyrics as "pretty off" and "stupid". i mean no offense, but i did have to say something. let's just keep enjoying this album. i haven't gotten tired of the album yet, and that's awesome. |

| Justin King – Reach You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| how is it no one put these lyrics up? so simple, but they say so much. | |
| The Slip – Children of December Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
actually, it's deceptigons. it's what the lyric is in the song. go and listen to it; it's clearly a "G". good song |
|
| The Owls – Air Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
this song is weird, and for this reason: it's a beatiful sounding song; simple, melodic, it gives you sort of a floaty feeling what with the echoes and the harmonies. "airy" i guess (but in a good way, not in a blonde way). and then you start to understand the lyrics, and you realize how heavy hitting the words actually are. the chorus sums up the verses by hitting you with a direct nuclear punch of a line. it's an absolute break up line, with no room for questioning. and i love it. |
|
| Jimmy Eat World – Here It Goes Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| definitely nice to finally see the lyrics; when i listened to it, the last part of the chorus sounded to me like "slide it to the right hand arrow". that definitely didn't help me trying to figure out what this song was about haha. awesome song though. | |
| Jimmy Eat World – Carry You Lyrics | 18 years ago |

ok here's what i hear as lyrics. ive corrected and added some things, but the guys before me got most of it right. go ahead and check it. as for me lately, i can think of no better way to spend 4 minutes and 23 seconds. When I know I'm all alone I say your name slowly And I know that I'm alone But I carry you Does it feel good like the memory When you try some history It's a dream to come around The rule doesn't bend, because the taste doesn't taste the same again It's easy feeling righteous when removed All you’ll get is what you wanna hear It hurts because it should How else am I to make it clear? (chorus) I could never be the one that you want Don't ask Well, heres to living in the moment 'Cause it passed Maybe a lie is what I need sometimes You told the most and best of anyone You said to keep me in your pocket So I carried you You'd better choose your words carefully Because I'm not your anything I'm gonna to stay here in my place, and you'll stay in yours Because you're only good as what you're good for. I pace around the room to spend the time Waiting while the burning pictures fade One thing to make you mine And another to say it's name. (chorus) I'm still carrying a little hope That maybe things could be different now. Is that so wrong? Would I see you tonight at a place we'll go? (could going through the motions lead to real emotions?) I wanna make things right before time runs out (it was like you said, the taste don’t taste like it should) Roll down the windows, let the cold air come in yeah Slap my face, just to feel you somehow again (chorus) |
