That's exactly how I got into this band. I was playing THUG and I heard this song and thought it was awesome. I never liked metal but this song changed that and I am now a self-proclaimed metalhead. Ever since, this has been my favorite In Flames song. |

I think Ueley's got it. A lot of people think that humans are at the apex of evolution when, really, we're just another species taking our turn on Earth. Eventually, we're going to disappear, whether it be dying out or evolving into another species entirely. |

Some of what destroyerdestroyer said I think is probably true. Apocrypha are texts of uncertain authenticity or writings where the authorship is questioned, like the Bible. We don't know for sure who wrote it. "Praise Apocrypha" could also be seen as "Praise the Bible" or "Pray to the Bible" or even just "To pray" to relieve the guilty feeling left by sin but not actually remove sin in its entirety. |

This is BY FAR the best ETID song ever!
I don't know what it means, though. It has alot of words I've never heard before, like other ETID songs. I heard on Wikipedia that Keith was a high school english teacher for a couple of years before his band formed. I'm guessing thats why the meanings in the songs are so hard to understand, because they're buried under a bunch of huge ass words. |

I think this song is more about how people today have "grouped" everyone else together by their race, how they dress, how they look, the kinds of music they listen to or anything else that is a little bit off or different than what society has led us to believe is wrong or not normal. It seems like the singer is looking from their point of view and also sticking up for them in a way. |

Also, when it says he's been jumping over buildings and sleeping in the streets, it may be talking about his time in Mantua, the city where Romeo was was banished to. |

I think that "Mr. Jones" is supposed to be the apothecary that gives Romeo the poison. Think as though he is in a doctor's office:
"Mr. Jones" will be right with you if you would just have a seat.
It's like the receptionist is telling him to take a seat and that the doctor will be right with him. |
