This is my favorite song on the blackwater album. When I first listened to this album I thought that Lochloosa was a much better album, but now I have no idea what I must have been thinking 'cause this album is great,along with Lochloosa. This song is about going away from home. To an unfamiliar place, and you are nervous about leaving into the unknown(because you may fail). |

why can't M. Shadows scream anymore? Last I heard his vocals are fine. He had some problems,but got a voice coach to teach him how to warm up his vocal chords before a show. That was supposedly the answar to his problems.?.?. |

This was the first song I had heard from Coheed and I knew nothing about the story or anything, so keep that in mind when I tell you that I thought this song was about a petafile. Can you see it from the outside?
This song still is also about a petafile to me. A song can have multiple meanings and no ones interpretation is wrong(except in following the Armory story). |

Claudio's voice is shit??? OMG!!! you have to be kidding me.
I guess you're one of those people like my friend(an insecure pea-brain who feels uncomfortable liking a guys voice whose pitch is,well,feminine).
Get this, I knew he didn't like Co&ca(he heard 'blood red summer'........."That dude sounds like a girl" so I tried to show him that he did like them. This songs intro is long and you hear alot of music before lyrics so I brought it over and told him to check out this song I found. He was really jammin' it when Claudio chimes in, and he then literally RUNS to turn it off. I was laughing my ass off! "Okay. Okay. I like the music, but I can't stand his voice".
I guess both of you have shribbled little prunes. That is the problem, not his voice.
I saw Coheed & Cambria live, and that is where you can tell if someone has a voice. He blew my fucking mind people. Claudio is super talented!!!
Dave Grohl, on the other hand, has a "shite" voice. |

I saw Coheed & Cambria perform this song live while touring with A7X, and it was so fucking awesome!!! I had goose bumps for about five minutes. You can feel that Claudio sings with all his emotions.
It is hard to steal the thunder of a kick ass band like A7X, but man, coheed stole the whole fucking show.I don't typically listen to music like this, but Co&Ca make me crank it so all can hear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

When I first head this song I thought it was about a petafile.
