I believe it's just about that, Glyphis. Anyway, Land of Talk's songs aren't too easy to understand. I mean, if they mean anything at all. |

I think it's just about masturbation. The guy feels lonely, but it's okay, all the love he has is in his mind. He's a lucky man, he got fire in his hands. Com'on, nobody mentioned this line, it's essential.
"Happiness / Something in my own place / I'm standing naked / Smiling, I feel no disgrace / With who I am" needing nobody, being able to know perfectly his lover - himself. It's a love that never dies, it's liberty. |

i've always thought of this as a song about euthanasia. someone, a man, slowly dies. the girl wants to assure that. the angels would be triumphant if they got there first (a natural death), but she already made her choice. she doesn't care about the reiligous implicance of it: i'll decide, take the dive, ... 'it's divine' is somewhat ironical. then she does it. turns the bow back towards him, drops the line: she kills him. puts her faith in loving. |

I believe it's a feminist song. It's like: oh, you're a man, so you can speak for me? Can you read between the lines like i can't? Like she's ironizing some speech. |

I believe it's about a funeral. The big black armor is like a coffin; lower me down: bury me. The parade is the funeral parade. No one lives forever. |
