This song is amazing. 2 things: Any idea what "Needed a hand to keep my head up so you put hooks in both my ears," means? My first interpretation was pain, but could it be reference to a song or musician? Favorite lines in this song: "It's ironic that I drink to make my insides stop hurting And it's a love that gives me heartburn It;s a song that makes my stomach turn And I wouldn't trade my hand for all the aces in the deck" Absolutely brilliant. The whole song makes me think of "I think I'll be okay," by Bayside. |

First heard this song when the Sleeping played the TLA in Philly. So glad I can listen to it ALL THE TIME NOW. Best song on the album by far. & you haven't caught on, it's about promiscuity, which Doug realized was a problem, and then this fantastic song was born. |
