fun. – The Gambler Lyrics 16 years ago
This is a very lovely, touching song. It's definitely my favorite from the album.

I agree that it sounds very much like it's talking about Nate's parents. As was already mentioned, the line about the doctors, etc., sounds like the story of Nate's father in "On Your Porch."

What a beautiful love Nate's parents must have. I find myself imagining what it would be like to grow up and live this song. Wonderful.

Millionaires – Talk Shit Lyrics 17 years ago
You know, I really think people that hate on the Millionaires need to stop taking themselves so seriously. I like good, profound music as much as the next person, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a lot of fun listening to the Millionaires. I mean, if you don't like them, then okay, but trying to seem impressive by flaunting your hatred for them and the idea that your vast musical knowledge pwns that of all individuals that DO like them just looks absolutely pathetic.

Live and let live. They're just a bunch of girls who are making music for a bunch of girls, and I think they're adorable.

High School Musical 3 – I Want It All Lyrics 17 years ago
This was a really great number. Very stage-y. XD

And for some reason, I think "Radio, CD, mus-i-cal" is Radio City Music Hall. IDK, I may be wrong. =/

The Academy Is... – His Girl Friday Lyrics 17 years ago
I'm glad I'm not the only one who got a feeling of ~The Cure when listening to this song.

I like it though. :D

Panic! at the Disco – Folkin' Around Lyrics 17 years ago
I love this song. Being from the Bluegrass State, I was very pleased with how well the pulled off this type of music. Folk and bluegrass are a dying art... I thank Panic from the bottom of my heart for making such a beautiful song using that style.

Yeah. That's about it.

Try "she defends it with a WARPED rationale."

It makes more sense,
and it's on their official website.

The Rocket Summer – So Much Love Lyrics 18 years ago
I don't really get the God-vibe from this song, especially with lines like "if you leave, I hope you need to come back," because Christians are supposed to seek out God's love, not wait for Him to be like, "Hey, I'm back. Sorry for the fight."

I think it's just a happy love song.
And it's nice to hear something that's not so downtrodden and sad. =]

Eisley – I Could Be There for You Lyrics 18 years ago
I didn't really like this song at first, but it grew on me.

To me, it's about a girl who seems to have fallen into depression and is becoming extremely introverted. Our speaker only wants to help, but it seems as if the girl isn't wanting to let anyone help her. [Perhaps she's scared?]

The first line kind of confused me, so I actually nerd'd myself up and read up on sulfur. The only thing I processed from my reading is that it's flammable, and I don't think that helps us at all.
