Its about monty python and the holy grail Dave borrowed the line "death surely awaits you, with sharp and pointy teeth" from the movie The Holy Grail. In the liner notes, Mustaine confirms longtime speculation that "Chosen Ones" was partially inspired by Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python & the Holy Grail, adding some sly humor to a usually dour genre |

Sometimes i just get sick of the world, and everyone in it, and just want to be alone. Like where no one can reach me. its just about getting away from all the crazy mixed up shit that goes on every day, and taking some time to just chill. |

| Porcupine Tree – The Sound Of Muzak Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Simple really, The music industry is becoming girl-pop, rap, and some of the weird stuff like ICP and stuff like that. The industry takes what the people want and sells it right back to them, and there's no room for gound-breaking, mind-blowing stuff like indie bands or PT does. It's all going to spiral downward into a vortex of severly generic mainstream pop music. |

| Porcupine Tree – Trains Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Train set and match spied under the blind Shiny and contoured the railway winds And I've heard the sound from my cousin's bed The hiss of the train at the railway head -a time with his relative's, maybe christmas? steve wilson does have in infatuation with trains. and he lived by the tracks when he was younger. Always the summers are slipping away A 60 ton angel falls to the earth A pile of old metal, a radiant blur Scars in the country, the summer and her -60 ton angel refers to the Mir space craft. it fell weighing aproximately 60 tons, and it looked like a falling angel. the last bit could be a reference to mankind's effect on the world. Always the summers are slipping away Find me a way for making it stay -summer, no school, carefree, that kind of stuff. When I hear the engine pass I'm kissing you wide The hissing subsides I'm in luck When the evening reaches here You're tying me up I'm dying of love It's OK |
