I lost so much sleep thinking about this one guy. I hate him sometimes because I blame him for making me lose my sleep and my sanity. There are times I think he's not worth the heart ache but then I can't stop myself, no matter how hard I tell myself to stop having these stupid feelings. I always dream of "some instant remedy" but darn it all, it doesn't exist. So here I am, still in love and still losing sleep. And this song is here to comfort me by telling me just how heart sick and in denial I am. |

I think this is about a guy getting to terms with the painful forces that oppress him in society, whether they are social standards, authority figures, etc. He is saying that he had been disappointed by the "piggy." "black and blue and broken bones you left me here all alone my little piggy needed something new." the piggy, instead of wanting to help him actually hurts him. Now that he knows this, he will not make the same mistake and depend on the piggy for help. Thus he doesn't care about the piggy anymore. Nothing can stop him now. |
