Oh, I forgot, Alex said this about the song & video: "The song is about an ex-girlfriend but it's also tied in with loads of thematic stuff about witches. The idea of the video is that I'm getting possessed and Ed is trying to find me to warn me about 'The White One', who is the witch in question" |

| Elliot Minor – Time After Time Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Simply, it was written by Alex as he repeated his gap year. He was bored and just seemed to be living each day over and over again because of the lack of interesting thing that occured. | |
| Elliot Minor – Jessica Lyrics | 18 years ago |

The rumour at first was that the song, originally called “Walk With Me”, was about Jessica Simpson, but it’s not, and there are many subtle hints telling us which Jessica this song is about. She's black, and white, and Sin City Into the blue, we touch so deep Let's fight, tonight you're my dark angel Let's follow you with the fantastic For the first time I stood staring down across the floor So what do we have, “Sin City”, “Into The Blue”, “Dark Angel” and “Fantastic For” which can be changed to “Fantastic Four”, 4 movies/TV series, with one actress; Jessica Alba. Elliot Minor have since announced it is about Alba, and in response to why, they said “because she’s fit”. The lyrics have been skilfully written to include 4 of her movie titles, but they’re also very subtle. Also one of the alternative versions of the song is called “Dark Angel”. |

| Elliot Minor – Parallel Worlds Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Copied From A Blog I Posted About This: Surprisingly, this song isn’t about love. During their student years, before Elliot Minor became the band they are today, Alex stayed in a small flat, where creepy stuff kept happening. Later, Alex found out that a chef had killed himself in the same room where all the terrible stuff was happening. “Parallel Worlds” comes from the fact that it was like nowhere on earth when you were in this room. Also the lack of specific wording of what this things in makes it seem a little eerie, for example if “Something supernatural” became “a big scary chef ghost”, it would lose all the effect of the song, which personally I believe is that it’s a weird place, scary and encourages us to think more. And if we think about the song more, we are more likely to remember it. Also we can see some paranoia among the song, like the place is affecting his life on a drastic basis. People first assumed this song was about some form of love, but during one of the Webisodes they made, they true meaning was revealed. Like with Jessica, you have to get close to the song to know what it means, but when you get there it all becomes cleared. This meaning is strongly linked to the video. It’s set in an old room, where draws shoot open, and paper is flying about. The set appears quite old, to give the illusion of a haunting; the theme of the song That's the true meaning. |
