Indeed: The Fragile contains this motive at the end of the song, moreover note that the title itself contains the frail - if you leave the G and the last E you get "the fra(g)il(e)". Maybe it wasn't deliberate, just random, but it was eye-catching to me. |

AnnaAkasha: maybe the song has been inspired by the novel. They have a similar story. Although there are vampires, the "smell" theme is the same, and it's not a simple or common subject, so there must be a connection between the song and the book. (both are on my list of favourites :) |
