I don't think it's about a woman who's a junkie at all. I think it's about a guy who's addicted to affection/passion ("A passion junkie's fix is never satisfied"), and can't get enough with it. The girl he's with realizes this, and knows she can't do anything he won't forgive her for. So, she abuses him emotionally because she knows he won't get rid of her. The song is entitled "Strang Love" because even though they have an almost abusive relationship, it works and will never stop working, which is very strange. Yep. |
