i get the feeling the song is more about taking back land then anything "The battle is raging, redeem this domain" and "Above the glory we carry on, now the time has come to return back home" makes me think they are fighting for land that was takin from them. as for the "dragon" thats a metaphor for the obbosing army. a dragon is something that (if still exist/ever exist) are extremely hard to defeat and would take alot of people dieing to achieve it. u kno its a metaphor cuz the only time they mention a dragon is when they say "the dragon lies bleeding". they also say "through the river of steel well go" and i kno they didnt walk through a literal river of steel. |

i agree that it means follow ur heart, but i think it goes deeper then that. i think they are saying that if u truely rely on ur heart and trust ur insticts, that all ur fears will be overcome. every verse is talking about overcoming some kind of fear. voices to easy ur nevers in the dark and the spark to lead u out/stars give u a sense of calm when u look at them and waking up to a light instead of pitch black darkness is alot more calming/ then it straight says "we are the unending answers to all your fears"/ next it says take a step into the light. |

| this song most likly has a meaning deeper then mine but still...i basically think its just a song about a rebelion. i mean it straight out says in a few places that they are starting an uprising. i personaly think its just a song about that and not just about one uprising in history. there are way to many to narrow it down to just one, but if it was gonna be just one it wouldnt be about the isrealites. by templar they are most likly refering to the Knights Templar which had nothing to do with the isrealites and pharaohs | |
