well I'll try and answer your question MatchboxTwenty... on the part of "I have been blessed and now I'm blind. A veil's been pulled over my eyes. Now every bad season that kept me believing seems so contrived." i agree with mattmalignancy. he is basically saying that he once judged people by outside appearance but now has learned a greater lesson that the outside isnt as important as he once concieved. thus being "blind" and on "There's more glory to be seen and savored through suffering than ever was through self-serving escape" he is saying that it is so much better to go through suffering intead of doing things to please oneself "self-serving". this could be taken in a christian or non-christian manor. and on the subject of the tcc not being christian...skaterpunkrocker you are right, they dont consider themselves a christian band. ive read the articles from those links before...BUT members of the band ARE christians, and have christian backgrounds, so christianity will show through their lyrics. |

Ok JERKS!!!! you guys spent the whole time fighting over if this song is really the clasic crime or not and didnt explain the meaning of the song at all! its called songmeanings for a reason! anyways i would like to kno wat this song means. by the way the classic crime is not labeled as christian because of non-christian members but if you read they're lyrics you can obviously tell religion influences them! anyone agree? |
