here's my interpretation. its about wanting to take a relationship to the next level but not knowing how to. Maybe scared of losing the person or being scared of not knowing how they feel or what the whole thing means to them... love taught me to lie implies to me that he has never had a meaningful love before and thinks this could be different but the unfamiliarity is frightening.. but he wants to still take it slow "come on courage teach me to be shy" |
