it is definately my favourite song on the album the rose garden metaphor is really pretty "Don’t love me with gloves on Pick me roses with your bare hands Make me feel I’m worth the scratches" "It’s the fear of thorns keeps you out of the garden...Meet me on the path where love could begin" as a pop song the lyrics are lush and flawless and the electronic element makes it different from a lot of delta's others quite straight forward in meaning.. 'i'm here, don't be scared, just love me' or something along the lines of that. |

i love this song yes it does sound imogen heap-y but i couldn't be more delighted!! ..i am a huge imogen fan and adore this type of music. emmy has done a fantastic job with her album and she writes with depth. i am quite tired of hearing that she is just ripping off imogen (not from here dont worry...other forums on the net) and it is quite unfair. emmy does sound like imogen but a lot of artists sound like ..a lot of other artists and they are still well received. this song has a particular 'sound' that is similar to imogens but is very different in many other ways. these lyrics obviously display much emotion and to cast emmy's music off as a carbon copy is narrow minded. after all music is made to be enjoyed and emmy's album is very beautiful and enjoyable |

| i love this song so much! the line "innocence is still within, evergreen but overgrown" really reflects my life right now. this song is quite deep and my basic perception wont do it justice but i think it is about growing up and and reflecting on yourself. the lyrics are simply beautiful and i can completely identify with what delta is saying. such a beautiful song, im suprised it wasnt on the official album. oh well, makes it all the more rare and special to find. | |

| this is such a good song!!! i cant believe the lyrics have been up here for nearly 3 years and this is only the second comment. i agree with bleeblee entirely.. theres something a little edgy about this pop track. the lyrics are pretty straight forward but its the music that makes it so fun to listen to ...ahhh i love it and just cant stop plyaing it. :o) | |
