This is obvious. Simply about how he fell in love with a girl- love at first sight. Then they got together. Then they split up because they weren't really going well together ("What we had wasn't really what we'd come to expect") and also because he must have dumped someone for her and she dumped someone for him and then a load of people must have fancied them etc etc etc. ("No disrespect, but we left a lot of people upset") Ok maybe not so simple. | I loooooove this song, it's my favourite at the moment. It's definitely about the end of a relationship. "I can't believe we've made it here, today I'm afraid of yesterday" because she dumped him yesterday? And then "I wrote this letter to you my dear" him maybe trying to get her back. And "I try harder just to know you're all mine", he's still longing for her and "I grow happy knowing that you're alright" possibly he's accepting that he won't get her back, so he'll settle for knowing that she's ok? My ideas haha =) xxx | |
