Some of the interpretations given for this are so god damned ignorant. Why would a progressive band like Blood Brothers be taking stabs at gay marriage? Jesus.
I agree with x3eryn that it holds too many wider social implications to narrow it down to any one thing. To me it represents the corruption on all levels of society, especially within religion and the media. The way that the priest starts snapping photos at the wedding seems to perfectly embody the way in which all that which may have been holy has been reduced to following the one true American religion: the dollar. |
