| Hollywood Undead – The Natives Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I love this song. It's just a big thank you to all of their fans. They basically became famous overnight, and now they've got an album coming out soon (supposedly. It keeps being delayed.) Here they're just saying how amazing the whole experience has been, and how far they've come. It's really sweet. :) | |

| Soulja Boy – Crank That (Soulja Boy) Lyrics | 18 years ago |

It has a pretty catchy hook. It has a dance that goes along with it (I know a ton of people that can do it really well). Sadly, that's all that's needed for a song to be sucessful in the MTV/Clearchannel world. |

"the song must be something about music and people and love or something." I think that totally sums it up. This is a song that's simply meant to be awesome, not to be analyzed. |

| Kill Hannah – Agent Orange Skies Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
It's about innocence, and loss of innocence. Picture a high school dance. The kids are dancing, having fun in their tuxes, and a few of them are strung out on crystal meth and in their own little worlds. Then, outside, there's agent orange bombs polluting the skies. The moment these kids leave the dance, this moment of joy and innocence, they get hit with this stuff that causes cancer and mutation (thanks crushgroove48). The drug use finally catches up with them, and they find that the world isn't as warm and good as it was inside the high school gym. The one line that doesn't fit with that is "jump the freight trains." Anyone have any ideas? |

| Placebo – Pierrot The Clown Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I always had a vision of a drug dealer in love with one of his clients, and he cared about her so he didn't want her to come back and buy more heroin, but he wanted her to come back anyway. I think someone else mentioned this earlier. Actually, lately I imagine it more as a "love affair" with the heroin iteself. Brian's admitted to dabbling in it. Or it could be about an abusive relationship, as many of you have suggested. The beautiful thing about this song is that there are so many stories. You could write a million novels just based on these lyrics. |

| PlayRadioPlay! – Decipher Reflections From Reality Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think it's just about Dan being really in love with a girl (madi?). Except he sometimes worries that he's not good enough for her (you are the circle, I am the square, I have the noncut you have the cool hair). The little bird part is just how he cares about her so much that he doesn't want her to "hit his window", or he doesn't want himself to be holding her back. | |
| Placebo – Space Monkey Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Space monkey is what you call someone who's on drugs and impossible to communicate with. This would fit with the rest of the song, since it's basically about being high. Or the choking game theory would work too, since that gets you high as well. And I really think mesmer is just short for mesmerize. You're all reading way too far into that. |

| Placebo – Post Blue Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I agree with the pregnancy test theory. I remember reading in an interview somewhere that Brian has a son (I don't remember which interview and I can see why he would want to keep it pretty quiet). Maybe this was written after he found out? Everything else reinforces that theory, aside from the drug references. But those can be found in pretty much every song. Maybe either he was on drugs at the time, or she was and he wanted her to stop so it wouldn't harm the baby? Or maybe he wanted to stop using drugs and be a responsible father, which would sort of relate to the "i'll break the back of love for you" lyric, since that would obviously be hard for him. I know I'm kind of rambling, but does anyone agree? |
