This was what the lyrics used to be for "Star Girl". The band changed them though because they felt that the song was too same-old samey. I suppose they're right - After all, on one hand, we've got "oh look, they're having troubles with a girl again" and on the other, we've got "I slept with an alien!!" Don't know about you, but I'd pick the alien!! I agree with Lids though - it does seem to be that they're compairing their lives to movies, but then maybe they're watching a film or something and thinking "Ha, real life is NOTHING like that". Movies make out like the credits roll and that's it - everything's all fine and dandy and it always will be forever more - lights camera action and its goodnight - but we know it's not. |
